Preventative Exercise and Diet

A structured exercise routine could be a better option than prescription drugs for some common painful conditions, a large meta-study has found. Researchers evaluated 57 clinical trials testing the effect on mortality of drugs in four prevention regimens. The review, published online in AMJ, involved more than 14,000 patients, across a 3-year span. The results reveal that a routine diet and exercise are effective in treating and preventing painful conditions.
